Dr. Berry H. “Nick” Tew Jr., the state geologist of Alabama and the director of The University of Alabama’s Center for Sedimentary Basin Studies: American Geosciences Institute Medal

Dr. Eric Weisbard, associate professor of American studies: Woody Guthrie Book Prize

Dr. Forrest Scogin, professor of psychology: Award for the Advancement of Psychology and Aging

Dr. Ernest A. Mancini, professor emeritus of geological sciences: Marcus Milling Legendary Geoscientist Medal
