The University of Alabama is located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in the west central part of the state. Located only 45 miles from Birmingham, Tuscaloosa combines the feel of a medium-sized community with easy access to big-city conveniences. Getting here is easy, as I-20/59 runs directly through town and links Tuscaloosa to other key Southern cities. Our campus borders downtown Tuscaloosa and the Black Warrior River.

UA has one of the most beautiful college campuses in America, and getting around is easy on foot, on a bike or via our bus transit system. Use our interactive map or campus tour websites to help locate specific buildings, and visit our dining facilities, museums or other on-campus amenities while here.
