Robin Boylorn

Associate Professor

Dr. Robin Boylorn is an associate professor in Communication Studies. Her areas of research include communication and culture, organizational communication and interpersonal communication. Dr. Boylorn is also an autoethnographer, a researcher of herself, her own culture and her own identity as a black woman raised in the South. Her interest in researching the lives of black women comes from a realization that black women, particularly those in the rural South, were underrepresented in the body of research she was using in her class projects.
