Feltman joined the faculty as assistant professor of Medieval art and architecture in 2016. Her research focuses on Gothic architecture and sculpture, including that at major monuments such as the Cathedrals of Notre Dame de Paris, Reims, Chartres and Amiens. She addresses the history of these buildings as well as current issues surrounding their restoration.

She is completing a book manuscript, “Moral Theology and the Cathedral: Sculptures of the Last Judgment in Thirteenth-Century France.” With the support of the NEH, she developed a companion website, which is available at https://www.jenniferfeltman.com/lastjudgment
Feltman is editor of The North Transept of Reims Cathedral: Design, Construction, and Visual Programs (Routledge 2016) and co-editor of The Long Lives of Medieval Art and Architecture (Routledge, 2019). Her critical introduction and essays in this book considers the enduring essence of works, restoration campaigns, and the narration of works in museum and digital contexts.
