Real Estate Community Has ‘Modest Expectations’ for Improvement, According to UA Survey

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Real estate professionals in Alabama have “modest expectations” for improvement in the overall Alabama real estate market but generally don’t expect much change in the overall national real estate industry for the second quarter of 2010, according to the latest Alabama Real Estate Confidence Index compiled by the Alabama Center for Real Estate at The University of Alabama.

The second quarter Alabama market score was positive at 54, a slight deterioration from 57 the previous quarter.
