UA Names New Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics Department Head

The University of Alabama College of Engineering recently named Dr. Sally Anne McInerny as head of the department of aerospace engineering and mechanics. McInerny is the first female department head in the history of UA’s College of Engineering.

UA Professor Named to NSF Position

Dr. Charles “Chuck” Lydeard, associate professor of biological sciences at The University of Alabama, has been appointed program director in the Division of Environmental Biology at the National Science Foundation (NSF) in Arlington, Va.
