UA’s Fleet Services will hold its first online vehicle auction beginning July 13. A variety of vehicles will be up for grabs, including sedans, trucks and vans.
Fleet’s new auction site allows individuals to bid on vehicles, with the highest bidder taking the sale. Individuals will register and agree to the terms and conditions before bidding on vehicles through the website.
Vehicles will be posted for 14 days and the winning bidder must pay for and retrieve the vehicle within seven days.
Bidders must be at least 19 years of age to participate in the auction, with the exception of honorably discharged veterans under the age of 19.
All vehicles are offered for sale as is, and all sales are final.
Fleet encourages bidders to carefully inspect property offered in the auction prior to submitting bids, as most are used. Vehicles can be started, but no driving of vehicles is permitted.
Payment must be made in full before removal of the property. Acceptable forms of payment are cashier’s check, money order and certified check.
