The University of Alabama Office for Research and Economic Development has partnered with the Mobile Chapter of UA’s National Alumni Association to present Showcase Mobile: A Career Fair.
This event will be held Dec. 16 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. on the second floor of the GulfQuest Maritime Museum in Mobile.
Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson is scheduled to begin the event with opening remarks related to the benefits of living and working in the local area.
Area corporations and businesses from Mobile and Baldwin counties will attend the event to recruit local UA students for employment opportunities, internships and co-ops. The event is being held during UA’s winter break, a time when local students are home for the holidays.
UA students and recent graduates should bring résumés to take advantage of this opportunity to meet industry leaders in business, finance, engineering, real estate, the arts, health care and more.
