A number of roads and lanes on or near campus — Bryant Drive East, Red Drew Avenue, Fourth Street East and Campus Drive East — will be closed for infrastructure improvements starting at the end of October.
Bryant Drive and Red Drew Avenue
Bryant Drive and Red Drew Avenue will close for four days. Both road closures begin at 7 a.m. on Oct. 31 and end at 4 p.m. on Nov. 3. Paul W. Bryant Drive will be closed between Red Drew Avenue and 12th Avenue, and Red Drew Avenue will be closed between Paul W. Bryant Drive and Eighth Street. Closures will accommodate work on sanitary sewer improvements.
Fourth Street East
Fourth Street East between Devotie Drive and Jefferson Avenue also will close Oct. 31 through Nov. 3 for installation of underground utilities. The parking lot/drive lane on the east side of Bryant Hall and Bryant Academic Center will not be allowed access to Fourth Street East, but vehicle access to Kappa Alpha and Alpha Tau Omega will remain open.
Campus Drive East to Close Nov. 1
UPDATE: Due to weather delays, the eastbound lane of Campus Drive East adjacent to Rhoads Stadium will be closed Nov. 1 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to work on a water main project.
