Do you have your ACT Card in the Apple Wallet on iPhone and Apple Watch? Here’s some quick tips to make sure you’re getting the most out of this convenient option.
1. The digital ACT Card in the Apple Wallet can be used at all athletic events — such as football! Tickets and concessions will accept the digital ACT Card.
2. With most iPhones, you will not need to open the Wallet when using the ACT Card in Apple Wallet. (IPhone 6 does not have this capability and will require opening the Wallet to use.) Simply hold the device against the reader and your ACT Card will pull up. When using the iPhone, face it with the screen up so you can see the transaction go through. Tilt the iPhone so the camera area is over the reader. This will help ensure a smooth transaction.
3. If you have a debit card on your Wallet with Apple Pay you can load Bama Cash from the eAccounts app without putting your information in each time. Just open the eAccounts app and tap Apple Pay. If you have more than one card, it will let you select which one you would like to use.
4. Digital cards are not affected by losing the physical card. Call the Action Card office to freeze your physical card and you can continue to use the ACT Card in Apple Wallet.
