PSA Presents Outstanding Professional Awards

The Professional Staff Assembly has named Greg Gaddis and Whitney Sewell as 2019 Outstanding Professionals.

The award recipients were announced at PSA’s May meeting, with Dr. Robert Hayes, interim associate dean and director of academic outreach for the College of Continuing Studies, as presenter.

Gaddis, a human resources information system administrator for the Office of Information Technology, has worked for more than 17 years providing innovative ideas and creative processes as a member of the business information and technology team. According to his nomination, he not only provides the outline and thought processes necessary for the project but also provides historical information for other processes that may be affected. He goes above and beyond in completing the goals of the project and meets the timeline deliverables.

Sewell, a program manager in the division of Community Affairs, has demonstrated a strong work ethic and has tirelessly fulfilled not only her current role as program manager but other roles as well. According to nomination materials, she never complains and is always willing to go the extra mile no matter what her day looks like.
