UA receives $1.4 million grant from Alabama Power Foundation

Business innovation gets a boost at the University of Alabama thanks to a state energy giant. Alabama Power awarding a $1.4 million grant to UA to support business innovation, entrepreneurship, small business growth and talent retention in the state. The gift will establish the Alabama Power Endowed Innovation and Talent Retention Fund.
