Faculty Accolades for April 24, 2019

Shahar Dillbary, Law School, is coauthor of “An Empirical Analysis of Sexual Orientation Discrimination,” 86 University of Chicago Law Review 1-75 (2019).

William T. Dooley, art and art history,​ had two paintings accepted into the Meridian Museum of Art’s Bi-State Juried Exhibition, the oldest juried art competition in the region.

A photograph by Allison Grant, art and art history, titled “Half Shadow,” received the Juror’s Choice in the juried exhibition Storytelling | Fall 2018 in Latitude’s Open Call Gallery in Chicago. “Half Shadow” was also selected for the international group exhibition “Environment Documenta,” at the Milepiani Gallery in Rome.

Dr. Kyoung Tae (KT) Kim, College of Human Environmental Sciences, has been selected as the Richard L. D. Morse Early-Career Award winner by the American Council on Consumer Interests. The Early-Career Award recognizes professionals who have demonstrated excellence in research, education or policy and have provided service that furthers consumer interests.

Ronald J. Krotoszynski Jr., Law School, has published “Transborder Speech,” 94 Notre Dame Law Review  473-519 (2019).

Michael S. Pardo, Law School, has published “The Paradoxes of Legal Proof: A Critical Guide,” 99 Boston University Law Review 233-290 (2019).

Mark Sniadecki, art and art history, published a cover design for a volume of poetry, “Trauma Carnival” by SaraEve Fermin, Swimming with Elephants Publications, LLC, in March.

Dr. Jane Weida, College of Community Health Sciences, authored the chapter “Measles (Rubeola),” published in the 2019 edition of “Conn’s Current Therapy,” a family medicine textbook.
