The dates for lane closures have changed, and will now begin in April.
Some lanes along Bryant Drive and Second Avenue adjacent to the Capstone Parking Deck will be closed between April and May. The closures will allow for the setup of a mobile crane to assist with work along the west and south elevations of the deck, which is under construction.
These lane closures will be worked in two phases.
Second Avenue, April 12-29: One northbound lane will be closed. Northbound traffic will utilize the remaining open northbound lane.
Bryant Drive, April 22-May 2, and May 6-24: Both westbound lanes will be closed starting near the Law School. All westbound traffic will merge into the center turn lane until Second Avenue. After passing that intersection, the westbound lanes will again be open.
For UA commencement, Bryant Drive will be open for normal traffic from Thursday, May 2, at 5 p.m. through Monday, May 6, at 7 a.m.
