The UA School of Library and Information Studies‘ annual Children’s and Young Adult Book Sale will be Dec. 4-7 on the fifth floor of Gorgas Library.
The sale will offer thousands of new, inexpensive and free children’s and young adult books in time for holiday gift giving. Proceeds of the sale support SLIS literacy outreach activities. Free posters will be available too, but quantities are limited.
Sale dates and hours
- Dec. 4: Noon-7 p.m.
- Dec. 5: 10 a.m.-5 p.m
- Dec. 6: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Dec. 7: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

- Hardcover books: $4
- Board books: $3
- Paperbacks: $2
Cash, checks (made payable to The University of Alabama), and purchase orders are the only forms of payment accepted.
