Managers are often compared with psychopaths, but in most cases these accusations are completely unjustified. That is the conclusion of a research by scientists at Iowa State University and the University of Alabama, based on an analysis of more than 90 studies on leadership and psychopathy.

Tioga County: Legislature takes steps to help curb veteran suicide
Tioga Morning Times (Sayre, Pennsylvania) – Oct. 19
The Tioga County Legislature this week granted unanimous approval to the county veterans’ service agency to pursue a grant aimed at reducing cases of veteran suicide. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs notes suicide risk was 22 percent higher among veterans than non-veterans, and in 2014, approximately 65 percent of all veteran suicides were those aged 50 or older. According to county documents, the America’s Warrior Partnership, in conjunction with the University of Alabama and the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation, are offering $10,000 grants for community-based veteran suicide prevention studies.
