During the week of Oct.15-19, First Year Experience and Retention Initiatives will host a series of events to engage and recognize transfer students at The University of Alabama.
Faculty and staff members who want to serve as advocates for transfer students may now indicate their interest by displaying door placards, available from FYE and Retention Initiatives.
To request a door placard, send your name and UA Box number to Kiara Summerville at kssummerville@ua.edu. Once you receive your placard, place it on your office door or your desk for transfer students to recognize as they visit your office space.
