Campus Hours for Fall Break 2018

Classes will be dismissed on Thursday, Oct. 25, and Friday, Oct. 26, for fall break. UA offices will be open, but various areas on campus may have adjusted operating hours for those days.

Bama Dining 

For Bama Dining locations’ hours of operation, go to Bama Dining, select Hours, and click on Today’s Hours or Full Calendar.

Capstone Center for Student Success – Academic Support

Wednesday, Oct. 24, through Friday, Oct. 26, the Capstone Center for Student Success will be open 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Russell Hall location, but there will be no tutoring available on those days. The Osband Hall location will not be open for any services on those days. Visit the third-floor Russell Hall location for study hall hours.

Crimson Ride 

Crimson Ride will provide regular service from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, and Friday, Oct. 26, but with reduced coverage. All campus routes (Blue, Bronze, Crimson, Crimson Express, Gold 1, Gold 2, Green, Silver 1 and Silver 2) will run with a single bus; none of the rocket routes will run.

Apartment shuttles will have buses on standby; students should contact 348-7433 for a bus to get them and bring them to the Hub.

348-RIDE will provide regular service from 9 p.m.-7 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, and Friday, Oct. 26, and all day Saturday and Sunday. Call 348-7433 with questions.

Counseling Center 

Hours and services will continue as normal during the break.

Museums

The Alabama Museum of Natural History, Gorgas House, Moundville Archaeological Park, Paul R. Jones Museum and Warner Transportation Museum will operate on regular schedules during fall break.

Parking

All safety rules and regulations apply as normal during fall break. Students should not park in faculty/staff or reserve surface lots.

Commuter: park in any commuter zone during fall break.

Residential: park in any non-gated residential zone during fall break.

Student Health Center and Pharmacy 

The Student Health Center and Pharmacy will close at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, and be on regular schedule Friday, Oct. 26. It will be closed Saturday, Oct. 27, through Sunday, Oct. 28.

Supply Store 

The Ferguson Center location of the Supply Store will be closed Saturday, Oct. 27, and Sunday, Oct. 28. Otherwise, all locations will maintain regular hours.

University Recreation 

The Competitive Sports Office will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 24, through Friday, Oct. 26. The Outdoor Recreation Rental Center and Bike Shop and SRC Climbing Wall will be closed Thursday, Oct. 25, through Sunday, Oct. 28.
