Professional Staff Assembly Elects New Leadership Team

The University of Alabama’s Professional Staff Assembly recently elected seven new officers whose terms will end in 2019.

The new president is Camisha Adams; the president-elect is Benjamin Bickerstaff; the past president is Robert Baxter; the parliamentarian is Linda Johnson; the historian is Darrell Hargreaves; the secretary is Dee Cook; and the treasurer is Alyson Baxter.

Adams has worked as a web developer, web designer and system administrator in the office of financial affairs information technology since October 2007. She’s been a member of the PSA since 2015.

Bickerstaff is a licensing associate for UA’s Office for Technology Transfer where he helps to protect new inventions created by faculty, staff and students and see them into the marketplace.

Robert Baxter is past president of the PSA and in 2019 will complete his sixth year of service in the 14 years of his PSA membership. He is a senior systems analyst in the Financial Affairs information technology department.

Johnson is the interim director of campus mail service and has more than a decade of experience in management, operations and customer service.

Hargreaves is the associate director of facility operations at University Recreation. He has worked at UA since 2004.

Cook assists with managing the community affairs budget.

Alyson Baxter is a senior director of system support and administrative services in financial affairs business activities. She’s worked at the University for nine years.
