The Professional Staff Assembly has awarded the 2018 Outstanding Professional Award to Craig Graves and Alyson Jarnagin.
Dr. David Mothersbaugh received the 2018 John S. Bickley Innovation and Creativity Award from Culverhouse College of Business.
The 2018 Library Leadership Board presented the Faculty Award to Benita Strnad, curriculum materials and education reference librarian, McClure Education Library, and the Staff Award to Le White, library assistant III, Gorgas Library.
The Academic Advisors Association bestowed the 2017-2018 Outstanding Commitment to Advising Award on Latandra Smith, College of Arts and Sciences, and Dr. David Albright, School of Social Work.
Elections
Suzanne Henson, University Medical Center, was elected Alabama’s delegate to the National Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She will serve a three-year term. The academy is the world’s largest organization of food and nutritional professionals.
