Six Easy Tips on Getting Back in the Groove After Spring Break

Whether you just got back from the sunny beach or the frigid mountains, returning to classes after spring break is never an easy transition. Here are six easy tips to get back into the groove.

1. Rest.

Before classes start again, take a couple days to detox your body and rejuvenate you mental, physical and emotional state. Set your reset button so you have enough energy to power through the last few weeks.

It’s way too easy to start a strict workout routine before spring break, only to drop it afterwards. We’re all guilty of it. Here are a few tips for staying true to a workout routine:

  • Find a workout that works best for you.
  • Have an accountability workout partner.

3. Check Your Email.

Let’s face it, no one is checking her or his email over spring break. Therefore, one of the first things to do after returning is check your email. Make sure you are on top of your assignments and see if professors have reached out before you checked out.

4. Find Ways to Stay Focused.

As finals are creeping up, proper studying is key. Take study breaks and find a quiet place to focus while completing homework. Don’t procrastinate on finishing your assignments.

Keep up on your studies; we have only seven more weeks in this semester.

5. Take Care of Yourself.

6. Make These Last Seven Weeks Count.

After spring break, you have only seven more weeks to pull your grades up to where you want them to be. Remember, finals are coming ready or not, and they are the only thing standing between you and summer.
