Accolades for March 26, 2018

Richard Delgado, Law School, has published “Alternative Dispute Resolution: A Critical Reconsideration,” 70 SMU Law Review 595-608 (2017); and “The Unbearable Lightness of Alternative Dispute Resolution: Critical Thoughts on Fairness and Formality,” 70 SMU Law Review 611-638 (2017). He also published “Rodrigo’s Footnote: Multi-Group Oppression and a Theory of Judicial Review,” 51 UC Davis Law Review 1-31 (2017).

Dr. Andrew Raffo Dewar, New College and School of Music, has published “Performance, Resistance, and the Sounding of Public Space: Movimiento Música Más in Buenos Aires, 1969-73,” a book chapter in Experimentalisms in Practice: Music Perspectives from Latin America, 2018 Oxford University Press; and “Neu gerahmte Klänge” / “Reframing Sounds: Recontextualization as Compositional Process in the work of Alvin Lucier,” in Musiktexte 156, Feb. 2018. German translation of article originally published in Leonardo Music Journal Vol. 22 [MIT Press].

Sheena Gregg, assistant director in the Department of Health Promotion and Wellness within the Student Health Center and Pharmacy, is president-elect of the Alabama Dietetic Association, which represents over 1,200 practicing registered dietitians across the state and serves as the state affiliate for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Gregg is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

Dr. Erin O’Rourke, College of Education, was named Educator of Excellence (Post-Secondary) by the Alabama World Languages Association.
