UA to Suspend Classes, Operations Tuesday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama will suspend classes and all other operations Tuesday, Jan. 16, due to the possibility of severe winter weather, including The University of Alabama campus and Tuscaloosa County.

The National Weather Service has informed us that conditions may deteriorate as the day progresses.

Bama Dining will open the following locations tomorrow:

Lakeside Dining Hall
7 a.m. to 8:30 pm

Burke Dining Hall
7 a.m. to 2 p.m. (continental breakfast until 11 a.m.)
5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Julia’s in Tutwiler
8 a.m. to Midnight

Severe weather can develop quickly and without warning, so we urge you to be cautious and remain alert to weather updates.

We expect to resume operations Wednesday, Jan. 17, but we will notify you if that changes.
