Montgomery Senior Elected Homecoming Queen

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Abigail Greenberg, a senior from Montgomery majoring in nursing, was announced as The University of Alabama’s 2017 Homecoming Queen at the bonfire and pep rally tonight on the UA Quad.

Her sponsoring organization is Delta Delta Delta, and her philanthropy is the The Andrew McDonough Be Positive Foundation.

More than 11,000 votes were cast in this year’s Homecoming Queen election Oct. 10. Students voted online.

The queen will be crowned at halftime of the homecoming football game between UA and Arkansas.

The game begins at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
