Reflecting this, definitions of interdisciplinary team work emphasize it as a dynamic, clinical process—involving two or more health professionals with complementary backgrounds and skills—sharing common health goals and exercising concerted effort in assessing, planning, or evaluating patient care. Gadsden reorganizing Industrial Development Authority

The City of Gadsden is reorganizing its Industrial Development Authority in a move that city officials said would have direct effects on the city’s ability to attract industry … Gadsden formed the IDA about 30 years ago, but the reorganization came about after recommendations from the University of Alabama’s Center for Business and Economic Research. Guyton said the changes will “better reflect the growing needs of community, employers and other stakeholders.”
 
Students see success at Girls State

High School students choose from many summer opportunities and obligations—especially as they prepare to begin senior year. PHS junior and senior counselor Laura Cochran does a thorough job of prepping students to use their pre-senior year summer wisely encouraging college visits. While many students make college visits during the summer, a few are invited to spend several days on college campuses to participate in leadership programs such as the American Legion Auxiliary Alabama Girls State gathering hosted by the University of Alabama each June.

Starkville native Tanner Fant earned second runner-up at last week’s Miss Mississippi pageant … Competing as Miss Meridian, the 20-year-old University of Alabama junior said she was excited to compete for the first time at the state level. “I didn’t have to earn second runner-up to be happy with the outcome,” Fant said.
