Opt-in Process for 2017 Season Football Tickets Opens Next Week

A new process for allocating student football tickets will allow many more University of Alabama students to receive tickets for home football games during the 2017 season.

Beginning this month, UA students may opt in online to purchase tickets. Should the opt in requests exceed the number of allotted full packages for returning students, split packages of three and four games would be assigned based on credit hour.

For example, all students with 60 credit hours and above (as of Fall 2016) who opt in are expected to receive a full package of tickets for home football games. Students with 59 credit hours and below may receive a split package of three or four games. Students who receive a full package do not have to participate in the sales process. Students who receive a split package will be assigned a selection day (based on credit hour) when they can log in to choose their split package.

Students will be able to opt in to the sale Monday, April 10, at 8 a.m. through Wednesday, April 12, at 5 p.m. Students must submit this request to be able to participate in the season ticket sale. The opt-in period is not a first-come, first-served event.

If you request to opt in, you will be notified on Friday, April 14, of whether or not you are eligible to purchase a ticket package.

An email will be sent to students notifying them of their eligibility and the opt-in process.
