With the direction of President Stuart R. Bell and Provost Kevin Whitaker and the support of the Strategic Planning Council’s Subcommittee on Diversity and Inclusion, UA has partnered with an outside firm to conduct a diversity mapping project.
Begun in 2016, the project is nearing completion, and is expected to help further shape UA’s Strategic Diversity Plan and other diversity efforts in coming years. It catalogs all the current diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, programs and courses on campus,
Halualani & Associates, the San Jose-based firm working on the project, is providing monthly updates. In addition, there is a 9-minute SlideCast for the UA campus community.
