Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental health resource awareness and education are at the forefront of multiple events on campus this week.

The Student Health Center and Pharmacy, in partnership with the Student Government Association, the Counseling Center and the Career Center present Mental Health Awareness week.

Events, from today through Sunday, include:

Monday, Oct. 3 – End the Stigma – UA Quad, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Screening of HBO’s “My Depression” and a Town Hall, 8 p.m., Ferguson Theatre

Tuesday, Oct. 4 – Mental Health Resource Fair, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Ferguson Promenade
Mindfulness and Meditation, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., Ferguson Center, Anderson Room

Wednesday, Oct. 5 – Identifying and Overcoming Negative Coping Techniques, 11 a.m.-11:45 a.m., Ferguson Forum
Managing Career Anxiety Workshop, 2 p.m., Ferguson Center, room 3400

Thursday, Oct. 6 – Mindfulness and Meditation, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., Ferguson Center, Anderson Room
#Adulting 101: From Struggle to Success, 2 p.m., Ferguson Center, room 3108
Mental Health Resource Fair, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Ferguson Promenade
