TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama Supply Store will present the fall Graduation Celebration on Thursday, Oct. 15, on the Quad from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The Graduation Celebration is designed to be a one-stop shopping and preparation venue for students who plan to graduate in December. The event is also sponsored by Balfour, manufacturer of UA’s official class ring.
Graduating students can visit a number of vendors and UA departments during the event and place orders for class rings, graduation announcements and diploma frames. Orders for caps, gowns and hoods for master’s and doctoral students can also be made.
Representatives from various campus offices, including Student Receivables, the Corolla, the Career Center and Alumni Affairs will be available. Stacy Jones Photography will be on hand to take cap and gown graduation portraits and will offer various packages for purchase.
Refreshments, including lunch at noon, will be served and a number of door prizes will be awarded. No purchase is necessary to register for the prizes, which include a cap and gown, a graduation announcement package and a diploma frame.
Representatives from Balfour will also be on hand in the Supply Store Ferguson Center lobby on Friday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. to allow students to order class rings.
