TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Office of Community Affairs will host the Community Culture Fest in downtown Northport on the new date, Sunday, Nov. 1.
The community festival will feature live entertainment, food and events honoring the West Alabama area’s rich cultural and artistic history. The event was rescheduled from Oct. 4 due to inclement weather.
“Everything will be held as originally planned,” said Brice Miller, assistant director of the UA Crossroads Community Center and the organizer of the event. “All of the vendors and performers, including Homemade Jamz, who keep a heavy touring schedule, and Mariachi Mexica from San Antonio, Texas, have agreed to be there,” he added.
