UA Guest Speaker to Discuss International Women’s Issues

posterTUSCALOOSA, Ala. – University of Alabama Honors College visiting professor Dr. Sangita Rayamajhi will give a talk on issues affecting women in her home country, Nepal, on Feb. 10 at 12:30 p.m. in 205 Gorgas Library.

This free event, open to the public, is part of the ongoing speaker’s series sponsored by the UA Honors College and Housing and Residential Communities. Rayamajhi will speak about some of the conditions affecting women and girls in Nepal.

She is a professor at Tribhuvan University in Nepal. Rayamajhi is a visiting professor at UA in the areas of women’s studies, the literature of South Asia and the Hindu religion.
