UA Public Radio Presents Kitchens of Consequence Tour

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The 13th annual Kitchens of Consequence Tour to benefit WUAL-FM/Alabama Public Radio will be held Saturday, Feb. 9 from 1-4 p.m. The tour features six of Tuscaloosa’s finest private kitchens along with an assortment of food from area caterers and local music.

The tour allows the public to see new ideas in kitchen design while enjoying the efforts of local caterers who volunteer their time and food for the tour. This year’s tour will also include music from talented local musicians at four of the homes.

Tickets are $20 and will be available at each home the day of the tour, or at locations around Tuscaloosa including: Spirits Wine Shops in Essex Square and the Shops of Lake Tuscaloosa, Manna Grocery and Deli at 2313 McFarland Blvd. E., East Gate Gallery at 2104 University Blvd. E., Lighting Plus at 4719 McFarland Blvd. E., Southern House at 1928 7th St. and at Alabama Public Radio in 166 Phifer Annex on the UA campus.
