UA’s Beta Theta Pi Fraternity Named Most Improved Chapter

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Beta Theta Pi Fraternity’s Delta Theta chapter at The University of Alabama received the Most Improved Chapter award at the fraternity’s 166th General Convention held recently in Scottsdale, Ariz.

The Most Improved Chapter award recognized the chapter that has shown outstanding progress over an academic year. UA’s chapter held a successful retreat, stepped up its philanthropic efforts and made significant improvements in its commitment to academic excellence.

Beta Theta Pi was founded in 1839 at Miami University in Ohio and the Delta Theta chapter was installed at UA in 1964. The fraternity has more than 120,000 members in the U.S. and Canada.
