University to Hold 2004 UA-RED Day for Educators

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Career Center will hold UA-RED (Recruitment of Educators Day) on Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Ferguson Center Ballroom on the UA campus.

School systems from across the Southeast will be on campus to interview students, current teachers and UA alumni for teaching positions in their areas.

This event is free and open to all students interested in a career in education (regardless of major). Participants will sign up for interviews from 9-10 a.m. and interviews will begin at 10 a.m.

Dress is business attire and applicants are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume. A portfolio is optional. To view a full listing of participants visit www.career.ua.edu.
