TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Russell Student Health Center is sponsoring the annual health fair, “Healthy Campus, Healthy Students, Healthy UA,” for UA students from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Heritage Ballroom of Ferguson Center on Thursday, Nov. 15.

The health fair gives students the opportunity to receive necessary vaccinations and inoculations while receiving information about campus agencies such as the Student Recreation Center, the Office of Volunteerism, and the Counseling Center. Other nonprofit agencies such as the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross, the Alabama Organ and Tissue Donation Organization, the Sickle-Cell Disease Association, West Alabama Aids Outreach, and the Tuscaloosa County Public Health Department will be on hand to distribute information about their mission in the community.

Door prizes, free refreshments and snacks, health risk appraisals, and blood pressure screenings will be available during the health fair. Students should remember to bring their ACT card.
