UA Sarah Moody Gallery of Art to Present “Span-New: Department of Art Faculty Exhibit”

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Sarah Moody Gallery of Art within The University of Alabama College of Arts and Sciences will present “Span-New: Department of Art Faculty Exhibit,” from Dec. 6 through Jan. 27, 2002.

The public is invited to attend the free opening evening reception on Friday, Dec. 6, from 6-8 p.m.

This exhibition features works of art created by the current studio faculty and emeritus faculty in the department of art at UA. Included works represent the mediums of photography, sculpture, printmaking, painting, drawing and ceramics.

The Sarah Moody Gallery of Art is located in 103 Garland Hall on the UA campus. Funding support for the gallery is provided by the department of art, the Friends of the Gallery, and the College of Arts & Sciences. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. weekdays, and 2-5 p.m. Sundays. Admission to the gallery is free.
