UA Faculty to Participate in Annual Writers Harvest, Public Invited to Attend

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The College of Arts and Sciences and the department of English at The University of Alabama will host the annual National Writers Harvest on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m., in 205 Smith Hall. The event is open to the public.

College of Arts and Sciences creative writing faculty and other published writers from the Tuscaloosa community will give a reading as part of the National Writers Harvest sponsored by Share Our Strength, the national organization dedicated to raising funds to fight hunger and in support of poverty relief. Donations will be accepted from the public at the event.
