Huntsville Attorney Establishes Scholarship At UA School Of Law

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Huntsville attorney David L. Thomas has established a new scholarship at The University of Alabama School of Law. The David L. Thomas Endowed Scholarship will be added to the list of more than 100 endowed scholarships offered to students at the UA Law School.

A member of the Law School Class of 1961, Thomas is senior partner in the Huntsville firm of Thomas, Boyanton & Clem, L.L.C. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association and has been honored as a “Master of the Bench” in his Inn of Court, a professional organization recognizing the highest skills of trial practice.

“I hope to encourage other graduates of our Alabama Law School who have been similarly blessed to contribute to our school,” Thomas said.

The scholarship will be established through a gift of real estate valued at $75,000. The proceeds of the gift will be administered by the UA Law School Foundation to provide scholarships to deserving law students.
