Seikei University Professor To Speak At UA Law School

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Seikei University Professor of Law Mitsuo Matsushita will speak at The University of Alabama School of Law on Tuesday, March 20, at noon in room 372.

Matsushita, also professor emeritus at Tokyo University, is one of the world’s leading authorities on international trade and competition, economic law, and investment law. He has held professorships at Harvard, Columbia, Georgetown, and Michigan law schools as well at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. Matsushita was among the first seven judges appointed to the World Trade Organization’s appellate body in 1995, and he will speak on the WTO’s dispute resolution process and its bearing upon fair competition.
