Media Consultant To Speak At UA March 21

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Media consultant Gary Fuller of Opelika will lecture on “Broadcast Management, Sales Presentations and Techniques,” Wednesday, March 21, in 222 Reese Phifer Hall, at 3 p.m.

Fuller’s presentation focuses on problem solving; finding, hiring, teaching and coaching salespeople; strengthening sales; improving station operation; and increasing the bottom line.

Fuller began his broadcast career in 1964 as an evening disc jockey at WRFS AM-FM in Alexander City. During the next 35 years, he performed virtually every job in radio before finally owning five stations. In 1998, Fuller sold his five stations to Root Communications. He now consults with a limited number of radio stations to maximize productivity and profits.
