University Day Brings High School Students To UA Campus

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Office of Undergraduate Admissions will hold University Day for high school seniors Friday, Nov. 10, starting at 8 a.m. in Coleman Coliseum.

More than 1,700 high school seniors, along with their families and friends, are expected to attend the event. The event brings together high school seniors from across the state and region to UA to visit the campus and learn more about college life.

Information sessions on UA schools and colleges will be offered in the morning. During lunch, seniors and their parents are invited to attend information sessions on admissions and scholarships, as well as financial aid and tuition. After lunch, there will be an open forum question-and-answer session, allowing participants to ask questions concerning a wide array of topics. The day concludes with walking tours of residence halls and the UA campus.

The cost of the event is $5, which includes lunch and a University Day T-shirt. For more information, contact David Johnson in UA Undergraduate Admissions at 205/348-4999
