UA, AU Gospel Choirs Join In Unity Concert

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Afro-American Gospel Choir will host a “Unity in Christ Concert” Sunday, Nov. 12, at 4 p.m. in the Ferguson Center ballroom, bringing together for the first time in Tuscaloosa the UA Afro-American Gospel Choir and the Auburn University Gospel Choir.

The concert is free of charge and open to the public.

Also on Nov. 12 at 10:30 a.m., there will be two special church services in Tuscaloosa. College Hill Baptist Church (2314 7th St. E. in Alberta City) will feature the AU Gospel Choir and several UA football players, including guest speaker Tony Dixon, Crimson Tide free safety; the UA Afro-American Gospel Choir will be featured at Elizabeth Baptist Church (2650 Elizabeth Street).
