TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Million Dollar Band has announced that the starting location of the “Elephant Stomp” — UA’s traditional band-led march into the football stadium — will be changed for Saturday’s game from Denny Chimes to Colonial Drive.
Neal Flum, assistant director of the UA Million Dollar Band, said the “Elephant Stomp” will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Colonial Drive, with the band lining up in front of Bidgood and Morgan Halls, facing the Quad. The band will march down Colonial Drive, leading Crimson Tide fans into Bryant-Denny Stadium for the 2:30 p.m. football game kickoff against Auburn.
