UA’s Sarah Moody Gallery Of Art Presents Dept. Of Art Faculty Exhibit

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Sarah Moody Gallery of Art at The University of Alabama opens its 2000-2001 academic year with “The Department of Art Faculty Exhibition 2000,” running from Aug. 24 through Oct. 1.

There will be an opening reception at the gallery on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 6-8 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Current faculty members whose work will be on exhibit include W. Lowell Baker, Tom Barnes, Henry Betak, Gay Burke, William T. Dooley, Uta-Maria Krapf and Craig Wedderspoon. Works included will represent the mediums of painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics and photography.

Funding support for the Sarah Moody Gallery of Art is provided by the department of art and the College of Arts and Sciences at UA. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. weekdays, and 2-5 p.m. on Sundays. Admission is free.
