Cribbs Receives UA Doctoral Degree

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Henry Brown Cribbs III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brown Cribbs Jr. of Albertville, recently received his Ph.D. in engineering from The University of Alabama.

Cribbs, a fourth-generation UA graduate, currently works as a senior software engineer at Symvionics Inc., Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Fla.

As a NASA Research Fellow from 1996-2000, Cribbs did research for his doctoral degree at the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center, Edwards Air Force Base, California.

Cribbs was also chosen as one of 73 participants from around the world to attend the prestigious Complex Systems Summer School of the Santa Fe Institute in Santa Fe, N.M., in 1995.
