SCOPE (Scholars for Community Outreach, Partnership, and Engagement) is a graduate and undergraduate organization that seeks to get more students involved with community engagement work. SCOPE accomplishes this through biweekly workshops on ongoing community engagement projects.
Dr. Caroline Boxmeyer, a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine and an assistant dean for academic affairs for the College of Community Health Sciences, will discuss her work in Pickens County training teachers and school staff members to implement a prevention program that teaches the building blocks of mental health and evaluating program implementation and impact.
