The Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development (OVPRED) facilitates and promotes the pursuit, discovery, and dissemination of knowledge through research, creative scholarship, and technology transfer.  The Office for Sponsored Programs (OSP) encourages Research, Instruction, and Public Service by supporting faculty and University personnel pursuing externally funded grants and contracts.  All components of the OVPRED provide guidance and administrative support that ensures funded projects are in compliance with the requirements of Federal and State laws, sponsor rules and regulations, and University policies and procedures.

This session provides an overview of the OVPRED and covers a variety of topics including the preparation, submission, and administration of research proposals and awards. During the session you will learn how OSP, Contract & Grant Accounting, the Office for Research Compliance, and the Office for Technology Transfer can assist you.  Enrollment is limited to 10 per session.
