During the Pivot overview session, faculty will learn how to effectively use Pivot to locate external funding opportunities. Pivot is a powerful search engine tool available to all faculty, staff and students through the University’s subscription. Research faculty are encouraged to utilize Pivot so they may receive weekly Funding Alert emails with new or updated opportunities that match their specific research interests. The majority of Pivot training sessions are held during the fall semester to accommodate most new faculty. Please contact Angie Shotts to schedule a one-on-one session or a session for your department or other group.
Attendees are asked to bring a laptop or iPad to the Pivot Session. Enrollment is limited to 10 per session.
