In honor of Women's History Month, the UA African Drumming Ensemble and the Women and Gender Resource Center are hosting a drumming circle.  Participants will explore rhythm using a variety of drums and hand-held percussion instruments. We will use different themes to shape our drumming activities including community building, empowerment, and personal growth. If time allows, we may learn a few traditional rhythms from Ghana, West Africa.

Open to everyone, no drumming experience required!  Students, staff and faculty are invited to participate.

Registration is required due to space limitations!  Contact Paige Miller at cpmiller1@ua.edu to register.
