E. Patrick Johnson is a Carlos Montezuma Professor and the chair of African American studies at Northwestern University. A performer, activist, scholar, and teacher, he is the author of two award-winning books, Appropriating Blackness: Performance and the Politics of Authenticity and Sweet Tea: Black Gay Men of the South—An Oral History. Join us for an evening of performance and riveting discussion.
